Problems when syncing todo/tasks to nextcloud with syncevolution

Just circling back on this in case anyone reads this later, the mobile 
phone distro I use (Maemo Leste) is now on debian stable (bookworm) with 
libebook/etc version 3.46.5 and the issue still occurs.

This made me look again at the fix that you shared - and it seems to me 
that the fix in particular is for evolution (the GUI), which is not what 
I'm using. I'm using Qalendar [1] and I suppose with my newfound 
understanding I should instead fix the GUI application and learn from 
your fix to evolution.
