          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 56492
          Assignee: systemd-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: OnFailure and JobTimeoutSec for default.target
        QA Contact: systemd-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Severity: enhancement
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: All
          Reporter: public.avatar at gmail.com
          Hardware: Other
            Status: NEW
           Version: unspecified
         Component: general
           Product: systemd

In case of misconfiguration there is possibility of "hanged" systemd boot. I.e.
targets with login shell will never be reached. Most regular problem is
mistakes in /etc/fstab or other FS stuff, and miscoded scripts. For my
configuration I add OnFailure=emergency.target and JobTimeoutSec=60 to
default.target. So in any case something with login prompt/console will be
reached. Maybe default.target from systemd package should had something like
this by default?
