          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 72154
          Assignee: systemd-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: "systemctl enable named.service" yields error messages
                    used for legacy sysinit scripts
        QA Contact: systemd-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: All
          Reporter: joerg_diederich at freenet.de
          Hardware: Other
            Status: NEW
           Version: unspecified
         Component: general
           Product: systemd

When I try to enable the named service using the command "systemctl enable
named.service" I get the error message:
The unit files have no [Install] section. They are not meant to be enabled
using systemctl.
Possible reasons for having this kind of units are:
1) A unit may be statically enabled by being symlinked from another unit's
.wants/ or .requires/ directory.
2) A unit's purpose may be to act as a helper for some other unit which has
a requirement dependency on it.
3) A unit may be started when needed via activation (socket, path, timer,
D-Bus, udev, scripted systemctl call, ...).

In systemd version 195 this works fine without these messages. I have already
opened a bug for opensuse 13.1. But the guys there told me to open a bug in
upstream instead.

Bug report for opensuse 13.1:
