Priority: medium
Bug ID: 82395
Assignee: systemd-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: Setting a broadcast address in .network files does not
work
QA Contact: systemd-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: f-freedesktop at ay.vc
Hardware: All
Status: NEW
Version: unspecified
Component: general
Product: systemd
When adding a Broadcast= entry to the [Address] section of a .network file I
get the following error:
Assertion 'address' failed at
/build/amd64-usr/var/tmp/portage/sys-apps/systemd-212-r10/work/systemd-212/src/libsystemd-network/network-internal.c:298,
function net_parse_inaddr(). Aborting.
config_parse_broadcast() in networkd-address.c seems to be the problem, since
'address' is always NULL there.
