I have no idea. That's why I said go ahead if that's not enforced so far.
Honestly, I think installing rule-files with packages is a bit like Android,
where you agree to privileges of an application at install time. Placing .rule
files in /usr is quite similar.
With that in mind, this sounds reasonable to me.
But yes, I think we should query Zeuthen first. I'm fine with shipping the
.rule file with systemd now. I just stumbled across the man-page and wondered
what it is all about (given that my /usr/share/polkit-1/rules.d/ dir is empty).
