Bug ID: 80082
Assignee: systemd-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: Suspend/Hibernate should have StopWhenUnneeded=yes
QA Contact: systemd-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: m8r-0s9a4g at monumentmail.com
Hardware: Other
Status: NEW
Version: unspecified
Component: general
Product: systemd
I want to have a unit that starts/stops on suspend (but not hibernate).
Using WantedBy=sleep.target works for suspend or hibernate, but
WantedBy=suspend.target will not work because systemd-suspend.service doesn't
have StopWhenUnneeded=yes.
Is there any downside to add StopWhenUnneeded to suspend? Is there any other
way to have a service stop/stop based on suspend that I'm missing?
