          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 79306
          Assignee: systemd-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: systemd-nspawn: allow using existing /etc/localtime
                    instead of host timezone
        QA Contact: systemd-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Severity: enhancement
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: net147 at gmail.com
          Hardware: Other
            Status: NEW
           Version: unspecified
         Component: general
           Product: systemd

If /etc/localtime is a symbolic link to /usr/share/zoneinfo/... then
systemd-nspawn will set the timezone of the container to the timezone of the
host.

It should be possible to use the existing /etc/localtime of the systemd-nspawn
container instead of replacing it with the host timezone.
