This may be a simpler reproduction:

 ~$cat sap.sh 
#!/bin/bash
nohup systemd-ask-password test &
 ~$./sap.sh 
 ~$nohup: appending output to ‘nohup.out’

 ~$cat nohup.out 
Failed to create password file: Permission denied
