(EE) systemd-logind disappeared (stopped/restarted?)
systemd-logind vanishes on switching from console to X:
(EE) systemd-logind disappeared (stopped/restarted?)
see attached Xorg.1.log for more elaborate logging.
here is how to reproduce this:
1. have getty or systemd-consoled running on, say, tty1. i'm calling this your
console.
2. have X running on, say, tty12
3. swtich from your console to X and back to console.
4. trying to swtich from console to X no freezes the dispaly.
i have tested this on intel video card. let me know if you need more specs.
commenting this in /etc/pam.d/system-auth:
#session required pam_systemd.so
hints at pam_systemd being the culprit.
