Yeah, well changing the packaging is easy. OBS knows which packages
buildrequire the lib and it takes care of rebuilding all depending
packages in case the ABI changes. By contrast finding and fixing all
places that have copy&pasted a (non-trivial btw) piece of code is
a lot more work.
