Seems likely. In the make -d output Jan has:
Pruning file `systemd'.
Finished prerequisites of target file `org.freedesktop.systemd1.Manager.xml'.
Must remake target `org.freedesktop.systemd1.Manager.xml'.
while `systemd' is still being made.
