You can get a list of all usable devices including their path by loginctl seat-status seat0 after that attach a monitor and keyboard (and optionally mouse) and if you run the right distribution (I've tried with openSUSE and Fedora) and run gdm as login manager, you new gdm should pop up as soon as you attach the gpu.
