You realize this guy is doing the same thing to you that you've done to me?

He is going to come up with reasons why what you say is not true, and
even if you say "I have to pick my apples in fall because they are ripe"
he is going to suggest deep freezing the entire orchard so you can pluck
them in winter ;-)".

"ip -o a" does not agree with any purpose I had in using ifconfig here
and shows much less info.

That's like suggesting me to use an oven because ovens are better than
pans, even if I was trying to fry something and not bake.

Anyway thanks for responding to this.

If there is anything I hate it is people who are only concerned with
what is "better" instead of what is more useful. Or more suited to the
task at hand. Or whatever.
