There was someone ( Armin ) on this thread that responded this had
already been applied upstream since last summer which inconsistent with
the current status of the bug in your tracker and your response and I
think it's safe to assume you know better anyway you are aware of what's
about to take place and need to adjust accordingly as do rest of
downstreams that still might be using/relying on this although ( thus
far ) samba seems to be the only affected by this change.
