[systemd-devel] Why don't systemd-timedated list time zones from zone1970.tab?

Hi,


The systemd-timedated list available time zones from the file /usr/share/zoneinfo/zone.tab provided by the Time Zone Database. According to the comments in zone.tab its content is for backward-compatibility aid for older programs. New programs should use zone1970.tab.?

?Wouldn't it be better to use the zone1970.tab file?
