The existing documentation of systemd is extensive and well written
but indeed probably not very well suited to get you started learning
the various concepts of systemd.
Being scattered across dozens of man pages and blog posts doesnt't
help with that either.

What I really like about upstart back in the days was the
documentation they provided in the form of a cookbook:

I really miss something like that for systemd.
