Because the point of doing this is to simplify the code in systemd
itself and to give guidance to developers and distributors what
systemd requires. Even if such a test suite exists (which I think it
already does?), we *still* need the human guidance of the minimum
Linux kernel version and what features we need enabled to make it
work. Otherwise, it's a very unpleasant experience to port and ship
it.
