I checked /etc/pam.d/common-session on Ubuntu 16.04 and pam_systemd<br>
comes before pam_ecryptfs. You may try to swap these lines.<br>
<br>
session optional pam_systemd.so<br>
session optional pam_ecryptfs.so unwrap<br>
