Because there is no key by that name? According to <code style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SFMono-Regular,Menlo,Monaco,Consolas,"Liberation Mono","Courier New",monospace;background:rgb(249,249,249)">man journald.conf</code> it’s either <code style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SFMono-Regular,Menlo,Monaco,Consolas,"Liberation Mono","Courier New",monospace;background:rgb(249,249,249)">SystemMaxFiles</code> or <code style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SFMono-Regular,Menlo,Monaco,Consolas,"Liberation Mono","Courier New",monospace;background:rgb(249,249,249)">RuntimeMaxFiles</code> depending on what you’re looking for.
