<div dir="ltr">Hi Vito,<div><br></div><div>thanks bunches for your reply. My bad, I didn't compare the version I use to the version of the docs. I'll agree with your suggestion and will reach out to docs @ fredesktop. I reckon it would be helpful to have a /versionx-x-x/ in the url to view correct documentation.</div><div><br></div><div>Best</div><div><br></div><div>Antonio</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Fri, Feb 3, 2023 at 8:18 PM Vito Caputo <<a href="mailto:vcaputo@pengaru.com">vcaputo@pengaru.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex">Hi Antonio,<br>

It appears the man pages @ <a href="http://freedesktop.org" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">freedesktop.org</a> reflect either the latest<br>
state of the main branch, or the newest tag. Because that was added<br>
to journal-remote in commit f12b399dd6362a03379cb769954ebfb9972236ed,<br>
after v242 released, and the commits only exist in main and the<br>

$ git tag --contains f12b399dd6362a03379cb769954ebfb9972236ed<br>
v253-rc1<br>
v253-rc2<br>

It may make sense to create an issue regarding the docs @ freedesktop<br>
being kept too up to date. It arguably shouldn't be publicizing<br>
release candidate stuff no distro reasonably ships yet...<br>
