Have we done usability testing on this aspect? I have been playing with
KDE lately (I haven't looked at it in a very long time) and the
document-sheet based icons really do not provide a clear visual cue as
to what the icon expresses. I say this because it seems worth while to
get test data on this and (assuming my assumption is correct) mention
the results to the Oxygen developers so they might consider changing it.
If they are interested in changing it, it may be a good way to offer
collaboration between tango and oxygen. Maybe Oxygen is a 'distribution'
of tango (uses mostly tango icons and fills in the current blanks in
tango with custom icons). Just thinking aloud here.
