There is no "Tango Icon Library". There is the tango-icon-theme.
Attribution for using the tango-icon-theme icons which are licensed
under the CC Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 license, is stated on the
front page of the site:
Use of icons from the tango-icon-theme module must be attributed to the
Tango Desktop Project.
That is all. The "copyright holder" is whoever authored the specific
icon in question. There is no single owner that all copyright must be
attributed to, for the theme collection.
There are also plenty more icons under the GPL, which follow the Tango
Style Guidelines if you wold prefer to use them. If you're application
is a GTK+ or Qt application, it is preferable to use the icon theme
implementation in the toolkit to request an appropriate icon.
