[Tango-artists] What is the current state of things?

Hi,

I'm IFo and I'm glad to be here! I absolutely love the Tango project, 
its icons and its idea.

I started adding more categories to my menu as otherwise many of my 
applications keep going into 'Other', however, there aren't enough icons 
in the theme so a lot of the categories are reusing the same icons. This 
lead me to the idea to higher a designer to design me some icons, which 
I'd love to contribute to the project. However, I decided to discuss 
things with you first.

I see the website and the repo haven't been updated in years. What is 
the current state of things?
There are some discrepancies between the icons in the website and those 
in the repos. Also, I recognized a lot of the icons as icons from GIMP 
(and I think Inkscape), however, not all the icons there are present on 
the website. Is there a list somewhere of what needs to be done? If 
there have been any deprecated icons. Who's working on what, etc?

Basically, I am trying to familiarize myself with the current state of 
things and the roadmap for going forward.
