This doesn't seem to work.
Having sent <presence type='unavailable'/> to Google's server, messages I sent
were still delivered to my contacts, but nothing was delivered back to me.
<http://code.google.com/apis/talk/jep_extensions/shared_status.html> allows you
to become invisible on Google servers, but is not exactly trivial to
implement...
