Summary: Anonymity API (e.g. suppressing caller-ID)
           Product: Telepathy
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: tp-spec
        AssignedTo: telepathy-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: simon.mcvittie at collabora.co.uk
            Blocks: 24894

Maemo 5 uses various extended interfaces beyond what's in telepathy-spec. One
such interface is an API for SIP "privacy services", also used in GSM to
suppress caller-ID:

http://git.collabora.co.uk/?p=rtcom-telepathy-glib.git;a=blob;f=rtcom-telepathy-glib/Connection_Interface_Privacy.xml

http://git.collabora.co.uk/?p=rtcom-telepathy-glib.git;a=blob;f=rtcom-telepathy-glib/Channel_Interface_Privacy.xml

We should incorporate this functionality into the main telepathy-spec,
hopefully in a less vague form :-)
