There's probably some way to make checks about what method to use in
configure.ac,
so that config.h would contain defines like:
#define fcntl ioctlsocket
#define F_SETFL FIONBIO
#define O_NONBLOCK 1
so that corresponding gibber code would not change much, howerver I currently
dont know how to do that, i was thinking of making patch and config file for
proposal and attach them here, and someone with better knowledge would write
the configure.ac,.. for the moment i'll still try to improve the new patch..
