Summary: A way for client application to request minimum
presence on the account
Product: Telepathy
Version: git master
Platform: Other
URL: http://git.collabora.co.uk/?p=user/ptlo/tp-spec-senko/
.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/minimum-presence
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Keywords: patch
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: tp-spec
AssignedTo: telepathy-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: senko at senko.net
QAContact: telepathy-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
It's sometimes useful to have the account minimally online, even if the
requested user presence for the account is offline.
This is useful for the purposes of client applications that can use the
connection for "background" tasks, such as addressbook sync, mail notification
or similar. While they're using the connection, we don't want to go offline
even if user chooses it.
Proposed account interface:

The branch is listed in the URL field of the bug.
