Summary: embed telepathy-spec in telepathy-glib as a submodule
Product: Telepathy
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: tp-glib
AssignedTo: telepathy-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: simon.mcvittie at collabora.co.uk
QAContact: telepathy-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
CC: will.thompson at collabora.co.uk
Depends on: 26835
telepathy-spec should support at least the bare minimum of Automake makefile
targets so it can be included as a submodule in telepathy-glib.
Unfortunately, doing a dist out-of-tree turns out to be quite hard, so I gave
up for the moment.
One alternative would be to not put it in either SUBDIRS or DIST_SUBDIRS, and
instead have a dist-hook that packages it up.
Spec (based on Bug #26835):
http://git.collabora.co.uk/?p=user/smcv/telepathy-spec-smcv.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/wip-submodule
tp-glib (the spec commit included here doesn't correspond, due to rebasing):
http://git.collabora.co.uk/?p=user/smcv/telepathy-glib-smcv.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/wip-submodule
