It looks to be unrecognized even if configure --help shows it as a valid
option. The problem looks related with configure option not being recognized in
wocky dir:

configure: Configuring sources in lib/ext/wocky
configure: running /bin/sh ./configure '--prefix=NONE' 
'--enable-handle-leak-debug' '--with-installed-headers='
'--disable-coding-style-checks' '--disable-Werror' --cache-file=/dev/null
