Andre, I pushed to my branch the changes you requested. Please note that in
some cases (channel factory for example), I stayed consistent with coding style
in the file: as you said, it's better to change them all at once.

Let me know if there are still some issues.

NOTICE: Now that the cmake branch has been merged onto master, I rebased this
branch on master, and it won't be rebased from now until merge, as there is no
need to.
