http://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0191.html is a nice simple XEP for blocking
contacts. It's wayyyy better than messing with privacy lists. Various servers
support it (IIRC M-Link and Prosody and ejabberd) already.

I started hacking on this at the XMPP summit in February. I only got as far as
retrieving the initial list. Work still needed:

• Register a handler for block pushes, and emit a GObject signal.
• Add _block_async() and _unblock_async().

I don't think these will be that hard either. Then just plumb it into Gabble
and we can all rejoice and block our friends.
