Ok, changed my branch to reuse the code from
_mcd_dispatcher_reinvoke_handler(). By reading the code, it could also fail at
presenting the channel if the handler claimed it from observer/approver. That
issue is fixed as well by the branch (I hope).

I'll try to bring this under unit tests, but they all fail miserably with
master here...
