calls or some other dbus-activatable capability (say he's not in the mood to
use that capability) but still wants to stay available to chat?

<glassrose> Empathy doesn't allow that nor does gnome-shell but it will be cool
to have this possible
<glassrose> Ok, even google-talk doesn't allow this but I'd it's because it's
not possible with it!
