Bug #: 53818
Summary: Allow clients to control their capabilities from being
always advertised
Classification: Unclassified
Product: Telepathy
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: mission-control
AssignedTo: telepathy-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: chandniverma2112 at gmail.com
QAContact: telepathy-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
<glassrose> How can someone stop his contacts to know that he is capable of
calls or some other dbus-activatable capability (say he's not in the mood to
use that capability) but still wants to stay available to chat?
<glassrose> Empathy doesn't allow that nor does gnome-shell but it will be cool
to have this possible
<glassrose> Ok, even google-talk doesn't allow this but I'd it's because it's
not possible with it!
<glassrose> <I am assuming he doesn't want to uninstall empathy-call etc.>
<glassrose> skype allows to enable/disable video calls.
