I use kde-telepathy on Kubuntu 12.04.  If I do a "show info..." it always shows
that the "Contact can see when you are online" field is false, at least for
AIM.  (For gtalk it seems to work properly.)  The kde-telepathy developers have
told me that they are simply showing what telepathy is reporting, so I am
reporting the bug here.
