Priority: medium
Bug ID: 56888
Assignee: telepathy-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: outgoing file transfers via salut to Adium aren't
'closed' when complete
QA Contact: telepathy-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
Reporter: lukas.schneiderbauer at gmail.com
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: NEW
Version: 0.8
Component: salut
Product: Telepathy
When an outgoing file transfer via telepathy-salut effectively is finished the
file transfer indicators (i.e. the list-entry in empathy or the
kde-telepathy-notification aren't closed and suggest that the file transfer is
still ongoing. I have to manually click the 'stop' button to deactivate them.
I know the file transfer is complete because the other end already possesses
the whole file. The file also isn't corrupted (checked that by comparing
md5-checksums).
File transfer from telepathy to telepathy works fine.
This has to be a bug in telepathy itself since it occurs either with
kde-telepathy and empathy.
More info (e.g. a screenshot and some kde-telepathy debug output) is listed in
the kde bugtracker:
