g_type_init is deprecated from GLib 2.35.1, which causes build failures when
building against latest versions of GLib.

Although GLIB_DISABLE_DEPRECATION_WARNINGS is defined in config.h, some files
do not include it.

(I believe 2.34.x is the latest version that we can depend on, so removing the
g_type_init is not an option yet.)
