I am on
KDE Telepathy Contact List
Version 0.6.3
Using KDE Development Platform 4.11.60
(OpenSUSE)
And though not a developer - i am willing to test ahem early release candidates
:-)
While reading about encryption attempts on telepathy, i see some protocol
centric approaches, which i think is a bad idea, since work then has to be done
for each protocol. A strong feature of OTR, is that it crypt just about
anything, and that changing crypto scheme should be "easy" (even selectable?)
But for now only many good ideas are around, and little accessible to users.
Personally i do not hold a lot for the ssl that some protocols propose, in this
scenario, but still it is better than nothing.
