            Bug ID: 89984
Summary: telepathy-haze does not store authentication data
                    created by telegram-purple
           Product: Telepathy
           Version: 0.8
          Hardware: Other
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: haze
          Assignee: telepathy-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: dgf at iera.de
        QA Contact: telepathy-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org

Hi,

I use telegram-purple[0], which changed the directory of its authentication
data from ~/.telegram-purple to ~/.purple/telegram-purple. Since then Empathy
asks me on each login to authenticate myself using SMS messages [1].

The reason seems to be that telepathy-haze stores data created by libpurple in
a temporary directory, which results in loosing the authentication data [2].

Greetings
