           Product: Telepathy
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Other
                OS: All

It would be nice if Telepathy would support the Axolotl protocol (Signal
messenger, formerly TextSecure).

There are currently three implementations, for Android, iOS and Google Chrome:
* https://github.com/WhisperSystems/Signal-Android
* https://github.com/WhisperSystems/Signal-iOS
* https://github.com/WhisperSystems/Signal-Desktop

An implementation of the underlying protocol is available via the libaxolotl-c
library:
* https://github.com/WhisperSystems/libaxolotl-c

The Java library contains more documentation:
* https://github.com/whispersystems/libaxolotl-java

The wire protocol is described here:
* https://github.com/WhisperSystems/Signal-Android/wiki/ProtocolV2

And the specs are available here:
* https://github.com/trevp/axolotl/wiki
