Enable silent builds

Please enable silent builds as documented here:

https://wiki.gnome.org/Initiatives/GnomeGoals/NicerBuilds

I have attached a patch to do exactly that. In its current state telepathy-glib
will spam the shell with build output commands that are several lines long.
This makes it difficult to follow the output and see whats happening.
