Hello,

found it a few clicks away (it helped, that I speak German ;-)):

http://www.fokus.fraunhofer.de/event/ims_ws_06/index.php

"In face of converging networks, the IP Multimedia System (IMS) is the
consequent combination of traditional telecoms and internet technologies
for providing seamless multimedia services. Today IMS is regarded
globally as an enabler for realizing Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) and
Triple Play services. IMS standards and products have matured and we
recognize many IMS deployment announcements these days.

However, IMS is still not a main stream technology, compared to the
shiny internet Web2.0 world. One reason is for sure the lack of IMS
development kits and related IMS testbeds.

Now, roughly two years after the first successful IMS workshop in 2004,
FOKUS would like to provide the attendants with an update on the IMS as
common service platform for converging networks.

One major target of this IMS workshop is the official release of the
FOKUS Open Source IMS Core."

Have a nice day,
 Daniel
