+1, I think we need to think more about authorisation stuff. Given that
the service on the remote end is basically allowing random joes to
connect in, doing the same on the local end (where its quite unlikely
you have other local users anyway) isn't so bad. It's what SSH does
anyway. In many cases protocols like VNC or X have their own authentication.
