I'm pleased to announce telepathy-inspector 0.5.2, the "worst VoIP UI ever"
release.

This release adds basic support for making VoIP calls. No need for a
user-friendly IM client - you can now make voice and video calls from the
"comfort" of telepathy-inspector :-)

More practically, this can be used to debug voice and video calls, and
to test new voice and video related APIs (the source code includes
preliminary support for the current draft of the Hold API, although I
disabled it in the release, because we expect to change the Hold interface
soon).

A screencast of a pre-release version, demonstrating putting a voice and
video call on hold, is available from people.collabora.co.uk (video/ogg, 17M):

Changes in this release:

* Added basic support for making voice and video calls. It directly mirrors the
Telepathy API, so many steps are involved, but it does work
  - Add a very basic StreamedMedia tab, which can request streams
  - Add an extremely basic MediaSignalling tab, which can send channels to
    be handled by Stream Engine

* Added source code for a basic Hold tab (not currently enabled in builds,
because the Hold API is going to change soon)

* Continued to clean up code according to Telepathy coding style

Regards,
    Simon
