mcepl_: why cannot empathy connect to IRC channel through jabber2irc gateway?
When I try to enter telepathy%irc.freenode.net MUC on ǐrc.ceplovi.cz, nickserv
asks me for identify password, but then no new tab opens.
mcepl_: (I know, that empathy is multi-protocol, but I want to use the gateway
because of server-side logging etc.)
mcepl_: strange thing is that with another ejabberd server and another IRC
server it works correctly (identical ejabberd) and it does work without a
glitch when using gajim instead of empathy.
