I'm planning to release telepathy-glib 0.7.1 next week, so if you have
complaints about the current client API/ABI (available at
http://people.collabora.co.uk/~smcv/telepathy-glib-0.7.1pre-gtkdoc/),
now is the time to raise them! If so, please file bugs at
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Telepathy&component=telepathy-glib
and assign them to me (or leave them assigned to the mailing list).

0.7.1 will add a lot of API, making telepathy-glib useful and sufficient
as a client library for the first time. The "General D-Bus support"
and "Client-side proxies" headings in the gtkdoc are the ones I'm
talking about. So far I've ported stream-engine and telepathy-inspector
to use it; I've also done some code for a forthcoming libtelepathy 0.3.2
release that will let you translate between libtelepathy and
telepathy-glib objects (TpChan <-> TpChannel, TpConn <-> TpConnection),
to help with migration.

Note that I'm not asking for suggestions about convenience API that would be
nice to have - you're welcome to file bugs for those too, but I won't fix them
until a later release - but about improvements that would change API or ABI
incompatibly, and so have to be done before the first release.

Thanks,
    Simon
