Make a Jabber account, with:

Account: <your username>@<its domain>
Password: <your password>
Advanced:
    Server: <the server name>

If you *really* need to set the resource to Spark, then (a) you can do that
under the Advanced section, and (b) your server is weird :-)

(Resource is meant to be some sort of identifier for the client you're using,
like "home"/"work"/"laptop"/"phone" or "Pidgin"/"Telepathy", to let you log in
on more than one client simultaneously. If you're not going to be logged in
from more than one place, you don't usually need to worry about it, and can
leave it set to the default, which in our case is "Telepathy".)
