[Telepathy] Received SMSs not announced in Empathy UI?

It's 2.30.3 - which I see is half a year out of date.  I guess I really
need to be using the bleeding edge of the relevant components here
(ofono, telepathy-ring and empathy), in order to have a better chance of
making progress.  So I'll look into doing that.
