telepathy-sofiasip can't connect to ekiga.net. See
http://live.gnome.org/Empathy/FAQ#My_Ekiga_account_doesn.27t_work.

But once it's connected, video should work (assuming the other client
supports video as well).
If it's not that's probably a bug that should be reported.

Best to test with recent versions, the ones in Maverick should be ok.
