[Telepathy] video quality

Hi,
 when effect a videoconference empathy-gmail (firefox, explorer) i have a very bad video quality. I use Empathy 2.32.x on xubuntu 10.10. For H264 I installed gst-plugins-multiverse-ubgly
Is there a way to improve the video quality?     BR           Nicola
