AFAIK it doesn't work properly
( https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=674179 is still open, see
the blocker(s)) and while it hasn't been tested extensively I'm sure
we'll have a bunch of regressions.

GNOME 3.6 will indeed officially use 1.0 but, for example, Ubuntu
decided to stick with 0.10 for now.
